We are hiring a Sales & Import Operations Officer to join our professional logistics team and support the company’s growing activities in the freight forwarding and shipping industry. This role focuses on efficiently managing import operations, coordinating shipments, and providing proactive sales support while maintaining high standards of customer service. Sales & import operations specialist Responsibilities:


Core responsibilities for a Sales & import operations specialist, covering import shipment management, client follow-ups, coordination with shipping partners, and supporting sales growth.

  • Prepare and send freight quotations for import shipments.
  • Follow up with clients on quotations, inquiries, and sales leads.
  • Maintain regular customer communication to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and suppliers for bookings and shipments.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and provide timely cargo status updates to clients.
  • Handle import process issues or discrepancies in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import shipments.
  • Update the CRM & Pricing system with shipment and customer information.
  • Support sales growth by targeting key customers via LinkedIn outreach and engagement.

Import Operations Specialist Qualifications & Skills: 





Key qualifications and skills required for an Import operations specialist, including knowledge of freight forwarding, customs procedures, sales support, and effective client communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, import/export operations, or the shipping industry.
  • Strong sales support, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and international shipping procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM/ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
