We are seeking a talented and experienced Odoo Developer to join our team as a part-time hybrid!

As an Odoo developer this role includes working some days from home and other days in our office in Alexandria, Egypt. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing, testing, and modifying Odoo applications and modules, and developing the user interface and functionality of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. If you're passionate about coding, problem-solving, and delivering innovative solutions, we'd love to hear from you. 


Job Description:
  • Implement, customize and develop Odoo modules to align with business requirements.
  • Design and manipulate web content dynamically.
  • Design, implement, and modify the custom modules and models within existing modules as needed.
  • Monitoring database and handling expectations.
  • Develop, test, and maintain Odoo modules.
  • Developing both web layout and printout reports in various styles based on user requirements.
  • Collaborate with team to integrate Odoo with other web applications.
  • Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
  • Adding new modules or extend functionalities in installed modules when required.
  • Utilize version control tools like Git to manage project versions effectively.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years of experience in Odoo development in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of applications in Odoo.
  • Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL, and experience with Linux and XML technologies.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Query, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with object-relational mapping.
  • Strong knowledge of working with Odoo functional modules including accounting, website, CRM, and project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Working experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, or other related tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in developing both web layout and paper layout reports in various styles based on user requirements.
