The SEO Officer is responsible for optimizing overall website performance, improving online visibility, and driving sustainable growth through organic search. This role includes developing and executing effective SEO strategies, performing in-depth keyword research, managing on-page and technical SEO tasks, and implementing link-building campaigns to enhance search engine rankings. The SEO Officer will also monitor and analyze website analytics, prepare performance reports, and recommend improvements to maximize traffic and conversions. Strong knowledge of digital marketing trends and SEO tools is essential to achieve measurable results.
SEO Officer Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Analytics
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research specific to the shipping and logistics sector.
- Create and execute link-building strategies to enhance site authority.
- Use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track performance.
- Prepare monthly reports on traffic, keyword rankings, and user behavior.

Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
On-Page & Content Optimization
- Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, image alt tags).
- Review and improve website content to align with SEO best practices.

Ensure website structure and navigation support high search rankings.
Technical SEO & Coordination
- Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience (UI/UX).
- Ensure the website is fully indexable and optimized for search engines.
- Resolve technical SEO issues affecting site performance.
- Work closely with the marketing and content teams to align campaigns with SEO goals.
- Coordinate with the web development team to implement technical SEO recommendations.
SEO Officer Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proven SEO experience (minimum 2–3 years).
- Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write and optimize content for SEO.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in SEO for corporate or e-commerce websites.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
