Senior Booking/Pricing Specialist

ACS Logistics Co. is looking for a unique and qualified Senior Booking/Pricing Specialist to enhance our company workflow and daily operations.

Job Description:

  • Maintain a very good relationship with the shipping lines, co-loaders, and agents.
  • Request rates from local carriers and compare them with the same.
  • Request rates from destination or origin agents and compare them with the same.
  • Revert on requests for quotes within 24 hours maximum by mail or on our system.
  • Coordinating with sales team, customs clearance operations, and marketing team and collect feedback for each quote as per each case needed on our E-system.
  • Handle import/export RFQs from request prices and reply to requesters based on knowledge of ocean freight services and local market practices on our e-system.
  • Handle shipment booking and invoices payment with the shipping lines, co-loaders, and agents upon confirmation on quotation.
  • Track shipments till arrival to destination and insure documents validity.
  • Monitor our live rates and the valid pricing rates for regular updates and implementation.
  • Update the team regularly whenever there are a special rate, new destinations or any other transportation news or port congestion.
  • Run weekly reports through the Quoting Database and analyze the information to be fully aware of the best carrier to use from the best port.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, business, economics, or any related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a freight forwarder.
  • Excellent English is a must.
  • Excellent in using ERP systems and MS Tools.
  • Attention to detail and Ability to think analytically.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive team player.
  • Strong coordination skills among various work groups and with different levels.
  • Relation and plan builder with suppliers and 3PL.
